SamanPOS

Point of sale · Inventory · Accounts · Online store

The till, the stock room and the ledger — in one window.

Saman POS runs a shop end to end on an ordinary Windows PC. It keeps selling when the internet drops, prints the invoice your customers expect, and quietly keeps the stock, the khata and the cash book straight behind the counter.

  • Works offline. Sales queue on the machine and sync themselves.
  • Urdu on the invoice. Thermal roll or A4, with your logo and stamp.
  • Many shops, one login. Roles decide who sees what.

A till a new cashier can run on day one

Scan or search, take the money, print. Everything a sale needs is on one screen — no dialogs stacked three deep while a queue builds at the counter.

  • Barcode or search — type a name, a code, or scan; variants and pack sizes are told apart on the row.
  • Hold and recall — park a cart, serve the next customer, bring it back.
  • Split payment — cash, card, bank or on credit, in any combination.
  • Returns — take goods back against the original invoice; stock and ledger both correct themselves.
  • Prints properly — 58/80mm thermal or A4, Urdu supported, your logo and stamp on it.

Stock that tells you the truth

Every sale, purchase, return and adjustment moves the same numbers, so the figure on screen is the figure on the shelf.

  • Batches and expiry — sell oldest-first automatically, and see what expires this month before it does.
  • Variants and pack sizes — one product, many sizes, each with its own barcode and price.
  • Low-stock alerts — a reorder list built from what actually sells.
  • Adjustments and transfers — count corrections and shop-to-shop moves, both on the record.
  • Barcode labels — generate and print your own for anything that came without one.

The khata, finally in order

Credit is how half the trade in this country runs. The register that tracks it should not be a notebook that one person can read.

  • Customer ledger — every invoice and every payment, with a running balance.
  • Supplier ledger — the same in the other direction, so you know what you owe.
  • Payments in and out — recorded against the right account, not just "cash".
  • Statements — hand a customer their account as a PDF instead of an argument.

Where the money actually is

Cash drawer, bank accounts, expenses, income and assets — kept as accounts with balances, not as a pile of receipts to add up at midnight.

  • Cash & bank accounts — every payment lands in a named account.
  • Transfers — move money between accounts and keep both sides honest.
  • Expenses and income — categorised, so "where did it go?" has an answer.
  • Balance check — count the drawer against what the system says, at any time.

Reports that answer real questions

Not a wall of charts. The handful of numbers a shopkeeper checks — by day, by product, by cashier — and a button to take them to Excel or PDF.

  • Sales by date, product, category or cashier; cash sales and credit sales apart.
  • Purchases by date and product, so a supplier's price rise is visible.
  • Profit figured from real cost, including what you paid for that batch.
  • Export — Excel, CSV or PDF, whichever your accountant asks for.

Your shop, open online too

Every shop gets a storefront at samanpos.com/your-shop — the same catalogue, the same stock, no second system to keep in step.

  • Nothing to build — products you already added are the products customers see.
  • Orders land in the app — accept, pack and bill them beside your counter sales.
  • Your own domain — point it at the store and the samanpos.com address disappears.
  • Order tracking — customers follow their own order without phoning you.

The internet goes. The shop does not close.

Load-shedding, a dead router, a bad month with the ISP — none of it should stop a sale. Saman POS keeps selling and settles up with the server afterwards.

  • Sales queue locally in a database on the machine, invoice number and all.
  • They send themselves the moment the connection is back — in order, once each.
  • You can see the queue — the top bar says online or offline, and how many are waiting.
  • Nothing is lost if the PC is switched off mid-queue; it resumes on next launch.

Several shops. Several people. One owner's view.

Staff see what their job needs and nothing else, and the data of one shop never appears in another — that separation is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the app.

  • Roles — Business CEO, Manager, Cashier, Accountant, or your own mix of permissions.
  • Multi-shop — switch between branches from the same login.
  • Backup & restore — take a copy of your shop's data whenever you like; it is yours.
  • Updates that are checked — the app verifies every update's checksum before it installs it.
